VETERANS SERVICES

As the daughter of a Reconnaissance Corpsman who served in Vietnam for three tours, veterans are near and dear to me. I specialize in treating veterans who are struggling with PTSD, having difficulty adjusting to civilian life, and with reintegrating back into family dynamics. Many veterans experience the pain of coming home to a country that doesn't recognize the sacrifices they have made or the struggle they experience with seen and unseen disability.

I have almost exclusively with veterans and their families for six years. It has been a privilege to serve those who have served our country and see the positive impact that therapy has on healing trauma that is unique to military alone.

I am contracted with TriWest and TriCare as a Community Care provider, and any VA in Texas is able to send me a referral for care. I also help veterans with nexus letters that assist those who qualify, based on diagnosis, for applying for the benefits that they are entitled to.

I have treated dozens of veterans struggling with PTSD from combat, injury, military sexual trauma, deployment and more with Accelerated Resolution Therapy. This therapy utilizes eye movement with unique scripting to help not only process and find relief from specific traumas, but also completely eliminate or greatly reduce images and memories from the traumatic events themselves. This therapy is unique in that it is one of the few therapies that works so quickly to relieve symptoms of PTSD and trauma long-term.
